I heard something on the radio today. It was kind of sad. On the rare mornings that I actually wake up early, I like to listen to Kiss FM's Wake Up Club. They're pretty entertaining and they don't talk crazy like Star and Buckwild or Miss Jones. Also, they don't play loud obnoxious music so early in the morning. A little light soul and R&B, maybe some disco just to get you moving in the morning is fine by me. Not that I don't like loud obnoxious music…but I digress.
So, anyway, I'm listening and trying to rush out to move my car before my best friends, NYPD Traffic get there and give me a ticket. They're attempting to do a crank call on someone---as they do every morning. I didn't hear the woman call and ask them to crank her husband, but I did hear Jeff Fox and Talent confirm that they were calling him at home. Well, they called the woman's home and another woman answered!!
Jeff and crew asked for the husband and the woman says "Hold on. Here's the phone baby!" At this point, I'm confused. As was the woman apparently. Jeff and Talent are stuck and so are Shayla. There's a lot of "hmmms" and "huhs" going on in the background. And so the guy answers the phone and the wife jumps in and is like: "Who the hell is that chick answering the phone?" And he's like "No, baby, that's just my personal assistant. You know how she answers the phone playing. She didn't mean anything by it." And she's like, "Do you think I'm stupid?" And all the while, he's professing his love to her. He keeps making excuses and she's not buying it. She's like: "Why do you have this chick in my house! My house!" Then, he flips on her and tells her: "It's not your house cuz you don't pay no bills here! All you pay is your MAC bill and your Black American Express Card!"
It was a mess! I couldn't believe it. No prank call has ever gone that bad. People called in and tried to give her advice and were just generally concerned and sympathetic.
The woman, Diane, said she was on her way home right then to confront her husband, Cisco…She called the show later and told everyone she was leaving him and that he was a dog!
They've even posted an MP3 of the call online and it's been all over the Net. Talk about drama!!
