Last year I worked for a company based in Flatiron. The office, though small, appeared as though it was made from the corner of an old loft. The only thing memorable about it was the view from my desk space. And what a jagged little view it was...
Sadly, my apartment in Harlem, albeit large, is rather dark and does not have a view. Having a view at work was both a pleasure and a reminder of what I'm missing out on. The irony of course was that while the office view was pretty nice, my view of the job wasn't and so I moved along pretty quickly as soon as my contract ended. Such is life.
Just thought I'd share.
